Five Hands by Scolastica Five Hands by Scolastica
A clay relief I did in the end of 2006. It's approx. 40x50cm wide.
I was inspired by those photos of hands holding eachother around the wrists and forming so a circle. The clay is stoneware and the glaze contains copper and clay-soil from a little streambed.

Wow! :wow:
You made it yourself? I mean...it's handmade? Gosh, that's so good! I showed this pic to my Ma and she said it's totally like professionally-made.

 thank you so much for the compliment and the fav :cuddle: !!! I work sometimes in a ceramic studio and I make my stuff there :D I really can't turn ( I don't know how to say that in english :) eh make a vase or something on a turning table :aww: ahh my voc sucks!) So all the rest I can make are reliefs or little sculptures  unless the pottery-master there has pity with me and "turns" something for my so I can use the parts as a base (you make a bottle and then cut it long wise open and you have a base for a person) I will so have to exercise that... :blushes:

No problem! :tighthug:

That's so cool  I always want to see how people actually make ceramics. I understand the part about the turning table, so don't worry :D I would really like to see other artisan crafts you made!
