Description

This is another pic of the Borderline series I painted for a friend of mine who makes a movie :-)
It's a pic full of symbols so i'll try to explain them... sorry my english sucks! :-D

The window: the bars are broken open from the extraneous and all is illuminated by the light from the outside.
The table lamp: is off and which is a sign that her inside is all dark.
The mirror: in it's endosopy she is invisible which means that she can't „feel“ herself and hasn't any self-assessment.
The flower which climbs up the broom: her way out, she has to climb and stretch herself but if she really tries she can „reach the sun“ or as another explanation she sees her way out but she isn't able to go it.
The writing on the wall: is german and means „I hate you“
The writing on the mirror: is german and means „don't leave me“ and is the contrary to the writing on the wall and shows her two opposite sides.
The rose bush: one side is in bloom the other doesn't show any flowers, she can be nice to herself or to others, but half the time she isn't able to.
The shattered family portrait: it is half covered, means that all try to hide what's wrong. It's shattered and the breaking point is directly over the heart from the girl, means she
is the one hurt and the others aren't so beleaguered
The tattered photo: is a symbol for her disordered social relations...

sooo... long text (if someone likes to correct any mistakes feel free to ) the idea for the pic belong to my friend i was only the working slave :XD:
